I’m currently working as a Web Designer for Hawaii Health Systems Corporation on the beautiful island of Oahu. Aloha!
I have a love of taking broken things and rebuilding them in beautiful and functional ways. This plays out in my career as a designer and in my side passion of renovating houses.

Timeline
| 1987 | Born in Omaha, Nebraska. The youngest of four siblings. |
| 1994 | Found a passion for art. Doodled on everything and anything. |
| 2000 | Started my first job detasseling corn. Literally walked rows of corn all day and plucked the tassels off of corn stalks. Woof. Worst job I’ve ever had, but learned what hard work really feels like. |
| 2002 | Upgraded to a cushy job behind the register at Culver’s. Worked my way up to Crew Leader in short time, which was great training for me as a leader. |
| 2003 | Started working for Scheels All Sports behind the Customer Service desk. Here I learned how to interact with customers well and secretly prided myself on making friends out of unhappy customers. |
| 2004 | In high school, I fell in love with computer animation and website development. I took as many Independent Study classes as I could over the next few years to learn more about design and technology. Shoutout to Mrs. Kneifl! #YouTheRealMVP |
| Also 2004 | I took a job installing landscapes with Campbell’s Nursery. Was promoted during my first summer to Landscape Foreman. Responsible for leading a team of 2-4 guys to get the job done and ensure customer satisfaction. |
| 2006 | After one year of general studies classes at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, I decide I needed something different. |
| 2007 | Packed all my belongings in my car and headed to Florida. Here I started a more focused program at Full Sail University. Obtained my Bachelor’s in Digital Arts & Design. Was told I have “the chops” by several instructors who handed me Course Director Awards. |
| 2010 | Headed back to Lincoln, Nebraska to work for Swanson Russell as an Interactive Designer. Designed websites, digital ads, and helped launch their brand new Motion Graphics department as motion designer and videographer. Won several Addy awards for work I did here. |
| 2013 | Moved to Hawaii to help Hawaii Health Systems Corporation with their web design and development needs. Developed their corporate website along with 7 other facility sites using WordPress as our CMS. |
| NOW | On January 7th, my wife and I found out we are expecting! We are over the moon excited for September 14th! I am currently looking for employment in the Lincoln/Omaha area, in order to live closer to our families. <3 |
Personal Bits
I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Lyndi for almost two years now. She is an incredible writer and has a huge heart for people.
On January 7th, 2019, we received some amazing news! We are so pumped (and maybe a bit nervous to be first-time parents), but we cannot wait for September 14th!
In my free time, I can be found:
- Renovating our current house flip.
- Acting as tour guide around Oahu for visiting friends and family
- Reading books about real estate, marketing, and leadership
- Playing sand volleyball on the beach
- Or just spending quality time with my bae <3
Above all else, I strive to model my life after the teachings and love of Jesus. I don’t always get it right, but my desire is to build a life on love and follow in His ways.
